We made it to Florence Saturday and have been here for a couple days now. I definitely like Florence more than Rome. Rome is nice but the energy and vibe is just for me, it really is only nice for the historical aspect of it which I totally recommend seeing.

While here in Florence we have seen a lot but it is not as fast paced as Rome was. In the words of Brother Robert "We are visiting Rome but living in Florence" which is totally true. we have had a lot more free time to explore and walk around. The streets are beautiful and the food is amazing. Where we are staying is near everything so getting coffee is only a 5 min walk away, same when is comes to food. I found a really good panini place that gives huge paninis for only 7.50 euros 10 euros when you add a drink.

We have seen a couple churches, just yesterday we walked 463 stairs up the Duomo Church to the very top of the dome. It was a workout but the view was very much worth it. We also went to a church on top of the highest hill in Florence and that was also a workout but the view over the entire city was amazing and beautiful.

Here are some pictures of my time here in Florence:
